Back to the Future!

The Happy Family

While reminiscing about our childhoods, Max and I discovered that we shared a cherished memory: making pizza using the Chef Boyardee Pizza Kit. So...last weekend during our weekly trip to Publix, we somewhat simultaneously decided to look for a pizza kit and relive a moment from the past.

Back in the day, you had three options -- cheese, pepperoni, or supreme! Today the only option is cheese, but we upgraded using a bag of "Italian Blend" shredded cheeses from Publix, some garlic salt and pepper, a sprinkle of "Pinch of Herbs," and (for Max) a handful of green onions.
Our Pizza KitThe Contents

Our finished pizzas were delicious -- and they cooked so quickly (in only 10 minutes -- despite the box's directions for a longer cooking time)! It was a great, fun, relaxing way to spend a Friday night. Looking for fun? Want to take a nostalgic trip down memory lane? Get yourself a Chef Boyardee Pizza Kit!

I used to make these! Oddly enough, I've been thinking about them lately, too.

I think I see a Chef Boyardee pizza in my future!

Tim! I emailed you earlier, but I have no idea if it's your current email address. This is Chris Moedjio, by the way. I live in Decatur now. Let's hang out!

Oh my gosh! When Matt and I first got married, we had pizza contests with these kits. He would make one, and I would make one, and we would have to choose whose was the best. I love Chef Boyardee! I'm currently salivating. I think I'll run out to Publix (oh, excuse me, I meant Harvey's; I was dreaming for a second) and grab a kit now!!

OK, the previous comment was from Hene. Forgive, at times blogs are a bit challenging for me. Hene
