Miss Georgia -- GAMMA GROUP!

Competition continues this morning in Columbus as the members of the GAMMA GROUP face the judges for their Interviews. The Interview makes up 25% of the overall score for the preliminary competitions.

The members of the GAMMA GROUP are as follows:

L to R -- Miss Music City, Marsha Moore; Miss Magnolia Midlands, Courtney Piedrahita; Miss Warner Robins, Lauren Ledbetter; and Miss Albany, Kim Perez.

The GAMMA GROUP will compete in Talent on Wednesday, Evening Wear on Thursday, and Swimsuit on Friday.

This group is LOADED with talent and potential. In addition to last year's 1st Runner-up (Kelley Bradshaw, Miss Historic Southern Plains), this group also features three members of last year's Top Ten -- Miss Atlanta, Chasity Hardman; Miss Music City, Marsha Moore; and Miss Warner Robins, Lauren Ledbetter (my sentimental favorite for this year).

PLUS...the GAMMA GROUP contains several veterans like Miss Mall of Georgia (Aundrea Poole) and Miss Cobb County (Lace Larrabee) who are consistently strong performers and who, I would guess, are always within a few points of the Top 10. AND THEN...there are several very strong newcomers in this group -- Miss Cherokee County, Christina McCauley; Miss Southern Rivers, Kendra Pelletier (little sister of former Miss New York, Kandice Pelletier); and Miss Irish Capital, Carly Floyd.

Simply put -- the entire Top 10 could come from the GAMMA GROUP!
